Welcome to Kinlyt ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have a secure experience when using our mobile application, Kinlyt (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information.
To provide you with our AI co-parenting and baby-tracking features, we collect the following types of information:
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and basic profile information (such as your role as a parent).
Baby Profile Data: You may voluntarily provide information about your child, including their name, date of birth, gender, and daily logs (sleep, feeding, diaper changes, and growth metrics).
Audio Data (Microphone Access): To use the "Cry Coach" feature, the App requires access to your device's microphone. We only record audio when you explicitly initiate a recording. ### 2. How We Use Your Information We use the information we collect strictly to provide and improve the App's functionality:
To create and secure your account.
To generate personalized AI routines, insights, and predictive schedules.
To process payments and manage your premium subscription (Kinlyt Pro).
Audio Processing: Audio recordings captured via the Cry Coach are sent securely to our third-party AI provider (Google Gemini) strictly for the purpose of analyzing the cry and providing soothing recommendations. These audio files are processed in real-time and are not permanently stored, saved, or used to train our own models.
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with trusted third-party service providers required to operate the App:
Supabase: We use Supabase for secure database hosting and user authentication.
RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to process in-app subscriptions securely. RevenueCat handles the billing infrastructure; we do not store your credit card information.
Google Gemini AI: We use Google's generative AI to power our chat, night companion, and cry analysis features. The context provided to the AI is used solely to generate helpful responses for you.
We implement reasonable and industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information and logs. Data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted in transit. However, please be aware that no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
You own your data. You have the right to:
Access and export your baby's logs (via the PDF Export feature).
Request the complete deletion of your account and all associated data. You can delete your account directly within the App's Account settings or by contacting us.
While Kinlyt is designed for parents to track their children's data, the App itself is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date."
